Red Lodge Arrive and Drive series?????

I sent Red Lodge an email a couple of days ago asking if there was any possibility of an "Arrive and Drive Series" being set up to cater for people like us, who want to compete in a proper championship without the commitment and responsibility of kart ownership.
At present there is no local track that does this.  Ellough Park is the nearest that I know of but the races take place on weekday evenings which is less than ideal (unless you're lucky enough to live locally).
Red Lodge sent me a mail back saying that they had tried it before but it got canned due to lack of interest, although if we could get some support for the idea they would consider starting it up again.
I guess if we could get 10 people to agree in principal there would be a good shot of getting a trial series running, and then try to expand it from there.
There's no investment required as you can borrow equipment (helmet, race suit etc) from Red Lodge.  It really would be as simple as turning up, racing, collecting your trophy and going home again.

Anyone out there who is interested please let us know so that we can pass it onto the Red Lodge team.

Thanks for reading.

Re: Red Lodge Arrive and Drive series?????

I'm well up for that!

I'd do owner driver but I know from past experience that it's never as easy as it sounds to get transport, funds and the time. So this idea would be ideal... plus I can kick your ass at Red Lodge smile
